Pre-dynastic Egypt was a land yet to see the might of the pharaohs. According to the mainstream timeline, it was still yet to see the mighty pyramids of Giza, the Osirian was but sand in the desert, obelisks were still part of the bedrock.
Yet buried in the graves of these ancient people that pre-date one of the greatest civilizations of all time, were some of the most mysterious artifacts ever found.
They are not pottery, but stone. Hard stone, carved to impossibly high standards. They embody mathematical principles that wouldn’t be recognized for millennia to come.
For centuries after re-discovery they were simply categorized alongside the pottery, filed away as beautiful but not noteworthy.
Over a decade ago, CS24 Speaker and this year’s Featured Guest, Adam Young spearheaded the investigation into the pre-dynastic vases and has since formed the Artifact Foundation that seeks to further our understanding of magnificent vessels.
His research is supported by Brothers of the Serpent’s Kyle & Russ Allen, Károly Póka of Ancient Technology Podcast and Chris King.
In the past year, they’ve conducted 3D light-scans at the Petrie Museum, and have on-going discussions with various institutions around the world in a bid to scan & record artifacts from undisputable providence.
In March 2025, Cosmic Summit went on the road to New York for a very special event with Adam Young at the Beekman Hotel in downtown Manhattan.
This marked the very first Cosmic Event outside the summit, and provided attendees the opportunity not only to see Adam’s pre-dynastic vases up close, but to hold them and feel them for themselves.
Adam gave an update on the progress of his Artifact Foundation research project, including a featured video from his collaborator Károly Póka of Ancient Technology Podcast.
The event was a huge success and also livestreamed around in the world in our dedicated Livestream Platform.
Cosmic Summit also filmed a special documentary with Adam Young that took us to the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Explorer’s Club near Central Park.
This documentary, due to be released shortly, features Adam Young discussing his passion for this project as well as why he feels the work undertaken by his Artifact Foundation is so important to humanity’s history.
Adam Young’s investigation has sparked interest from Matt Beall, who has been conducting his own, separate research on these incredible vases.
This year at Cosmic Summit we are thrilled to announce that Matt Beall will be bringing 65 vases from his own private collection to the event, in a dedicated Vase Room where you’ll be able to see the pieces on display, have your photo taken with them and learn more about the cutting edge research.
The Pre-Dynastic Vase room will run for 2hrs on Saturday & Sunday (21st to 23rd) from 10:30am to 12:30am daily.
Summiteers will be able to pop into the room at any time during display periods, and in addition to Matt Beall and his team being there, there’ll be appearances from Adam Young, Károly Póka and Kyle & Russ Allen.
